I want to lose the Thermoquad on my '74 Fury 400 and replace it with an Edelbrock 1407 squarebore carb.
I'm currently running the Thermoquad on an Edelbrock Performer intake which I would presume is a spreadbore intake.
Is it possible to install the 1407 on a spreadbore intake?

I've had an Edelbrock carb on my '73 Road Runner 360 for a couple years and I'm impressed by cold starting and power delivery through throttle position never mind the ease of setting it up when compared to the Thermoquad.

The catalog said # 1407 is a 750 cfm manual choke since you all ready have an Eldebrock manifold give them a call to be sure .The tech line is 1-800-416-8628 7am -5pm pst weekdays office line is 1 310-781-2222 8am-5pm pst weekdays.
