I know I've posted a few questions about rebuilding my transmission, but this set of questions will be the last, at least for now!

Question 1) I always thought that the 727 tramsmission differd by years 62 to 65, 66 to 70 and 71 to 79. With the 62 to 65's being the odd ball, least interchangable years! Looking at a rebuild/overhaul/master kit to rebuild my 64' tanny I can only find 62 to 70 and 71 to 79(89) kits. So will a 62 to 69 master rebuild kit contain everything I need to overhaul a 64' 727? Whats the diffrencd between and rebuild kit, overhaul kit, major kit and master kit?

Question 2) Can you drop the transmission out of a 64' B-body without pulling the engine or using a lift? ie: can you drop the tranny with the car on jack stands in a garage?

Question 3) While when I have the tranny out, assuming I can get it out, what else should I check/replace?

Question 4) (almost done, honest ) What special tools will I need to get before attempting to pull and overhaul my tranny? I have a few books on how to rebuild the tranny but they mostly cover the 66 and up models, so is there a good dvd/video/book that would help?

Last question) Can anyone recomend a good source for transmission rebuild kits? Looked at Campbell enterprises, they have a 62 to 70 rebuild and master kit, any other sources?

btw" the car is a 64' sport fury B-body, with a 383 and a 727 tranny Floor shift. Engine isn't the original numbers put it as a 68' with 72' heads, but the tranny's numbers put it as a 64'.
