Hey Mike, There was a time I would suggest a holly or a demon carb. But lately both of these things have been driving me insane. If you have a stock motor and plan on nothing more than a 4bbl and dual exhaust for cruising,I would suggest a factory intake and carb. Or maybe a performer intake with a stock or aftermarket carb with a 650vac secondary. Be forewarned, if you go aftermarket on the carb ther will be issues of fuel fittings, choke, linkage, kickdown lever, fuel pressure, and the hair pulling process of dialing it in. I'm totally frustrated with my carb now. Save yourself! Good luck

i have a 4bbl #6231 from a 79 motorhome with a 413 on my 318 that i will be pulling this weekend to put a 2bbl back on the 4bbl intake. i just liked the way the last 2bbl performed. the 6231 was a bit too big for my engine but would probably be ok on a 360. it needs a rebuild and has no choke but if your interested pm me

for a good cruiser and the occasional drag I like edelbrock/carter. nothing to them so easy to tune and keep running. also if you are up for doing a rebuild you can pick them up cheap.

I like the edelbrock that is designed like the old Carter-AVS. Also, you can get adapters for the mopar linkage for either a holley or an edelbrock.
