Holley carb question....

Holley carb question....
I just had my 426 completely rebuilt and stroked to a 506CID with 10.48:1 compression. During the dyno the race shop used Holley 4160-4224 carbs which flow at 660CFM. They were jetted with #72 jets. This combo made a whopping 680HP on pump gas (10.48:1CR). The carbs I have are Quick Fuel 625CFM's with vacuum secondaries which they had trouble getting to idle, hence the swap out. Unfortunately the Holley's are about $575 each! The intake is an inline StageV. No intake porting was required. My question is, can I use the stock intake/carb setup (Carter 625CFM's) without sacrificing a lot of the power?! Also stock would be my preference since I want to use the AirGrabber setup. The Stage V is paid for but I have access to the stock setup....for almost the same cost as the two Holley's.......would I be sacrificing major performance for aesthetics?

Tough call man. I mean it's your car right.
If memory serves its a numbers matching car ?
If you are gonna show the car then I would say leave it as stock as possible. Not to sound like a jackass but how many pony's do you need ?
You have a beautiful rare car, I hate to see them get pounded and modified because someone wants an extra few HP. You have the ability to preserve some beautiful Mopar iron. Just my 2 cents bro.

Actually no, it's not an original 'J' car. I would never go buck wild on an original Hemi!!!! It's an original RM but that's it. The Hemi is an original 1968 block that came with the car, it had so many oil leaks I had no options but to tear it apart. The cross ram setup was not original so I went through it! This is how I ended up where I am. I like the original look but this car is far from original.
