Holley double pumper leaking fuel

My holley 650 is leaking fuel from the double pumper chrome fuel line (where the hex screw bolt is). I screwed it so its nice and tight but it still leaks. What should I do?

is there supposed to be a gasket under the head of the screw?

Not to my knowledge. I bought from a speed shop and only came with it. Do you know what im talking about? Its a chrome fuel line that screws into the 2 carb inlets on the side. It is not leaking from either inlet but at the other end where the rubber fuel hose attaches, there is an adjustable hex screw where its leaking.

I believe you can use a fuel gauge in this inlet but I don't want one. Will it keep leaking if I don't use a fuel gauge?

Can you put teflon tape on the screw?

I tried the teflon. Still leaks.

I agree with POLARADUDE, if the black RTV won't work, its probably got a crack somewhere. You might have to get another one.[easy to find; Auto Zone, Advanced ...etc]

If your motor is chromed out, id spring for the stainless fuel line for double pumper s from summit. they have a flexable middle so you dont have the excess pressure on the fittings, thus avoiding cracks.
