I need help identifying the source of the Mopar torsion bar front end suspension in my Ford hot rod. Supposed to be a 77 Aspen. Tried to replace the shocks, and found that Aspen are different than mine. Aspen has threaded bolt on both ends of the shock. Mine have threaded bolt on top, but a bracket on the bottom that mounts in the lower A-arm and accepts a thru bolt to anchor it. I found a similar looking shock that's for a '75-'79 Chrysler Cordoba. I'd like to replace all the bushings, etc. in the suspension, and it would help to be sure what I'm working on. Can anyone provide me some clues to verify the donor for this front end? Thanks...
