Depends on who's doing the inspection! If you mean no mufflers, might be tricky. In NY they only do a safety inspection on cars that old.

if they run the whole length of the car, you might get away with it
but if a cop ever hears an extremely loud noise, your in trouble
in my opinion, if you want noise, just put a louder exhaust

If you want a loud exhaust and still keep the copsoff your backs, put flowmasters on it. there loud when you hammer it and still let you pass the emmisions police.

The sierra club has been using their tout w/ good ole boy al Gore, and lobbying senators to push for a standard emmisions code for all the greater 48. I know theyve been trying a long time, but they have been picking up steam. theyre raising the ethynol levels in regular pump gas cause the e-85 bullcrap didnt go over very big. thats 1 of the reasons i got out of cars, besides the harleys.Big brothers gonna stomp on cars one day.

lol, i agree, i dont like them ither, and yes, the main reason was it was a chubby. I was merely offering our fellow moparite a alternative to weekly noise ordinance violations. I always ran 3" pipe, and dynomax mufflers, sounded good when you got into it and quiet when just cruising, so the neighbors, didnt mind me to much.
