might change route need info

i have a 76 motor home with a 440 in it .motor seemed to run real nice and ive had nothing but troubles with my motor .can i take motor out of motor home and use it the way it is or are there alot of changes i need to make thanks,car is not a show car or anything just would like to drive it dependably.

Should be a straight forward swap depending on the car it's going into, ie: exhaust manifold clearance, K member mounts etc etc.

yea its already got a 440 in it just didnt know if the cooling system and stuff like that was the same ,seems like i heard they had a different cooling thru the heads or something like that figured i better ask to be sure thanks

It is the same block, maybe a different set of heads depending on the years. If you already have a 440 in the car, then you can just swap the two motors.

Check the oil pans you may have clearance issues, I just had to swap this weekend the pan off my 440 for the one on my 400, different body styles that I didn't realize. Not a big deal but could cause a headache.
