oil leak behind filter?

Oil seems to be dripping from behind the filter. It is tight enough. Any suggestions...

Might have over tightened it and crushed the gasket.

What brand is it?

I did coat it with some old oil. I'll change it tomorrow and see what happens. Is there a gasket in the oil pump that can go bad?

Sometimes the old gasket/O-ring stays left behind. Be sure the old seal comes off with the old filter. Don't even take a chance, filters are cheap, just put on a new one.

Just a thought, some Mopars had a right angle adapter, (My 340 Dart did) the gasket around that may be bad.
