Trying to see if I have 1 1/8" or 1 1/4" pitman arm, as I am purchasing a steering box (power steering) for my 66 Coronet. I am guessing that since the car was originally a 383 4 speed, it would have the larger 1 1/4"? (and cars with small V8 or 6 would have smaller shaft?). I am going to have someone install it for me since my back is whacked right now. Is it easy to measure the shaft?
