Questions about 1970 Dodge Musclecars
What body classification is the 1970-model Dodge Challenger automobile line? Is this an "E" body?
I'm interested in 1970 Dodge muscle/pony cars.
Was any 1970 Challenger or similar-styled Dodge product sold with all the following factory options?
1. convertible version
2. air conditioning
3. radio
4. heater
5. Plum Crazy OR some shade of factory pink
My dream car is a minty 1970 Dodge muscle/pony car that meets all the stipulations for options as shown above.
What stock motors and transmissions were available for any factory air-conditioned 1970 Dodge muscle/pony car?
Generally speaking, A/C (perhaps even heat and radio) was not offered on classic muscle cars with the most powerful engines.
This cool-looking 1970 Challenger R/T may or may not have been originally offered with factory a/c:
it's imperative that my classic muscle/pony Dodge be cool on hot days as well as look cool.

I believe AC was available on everything except the Hemi. The Ebody was available with a 225 /6, 318,340,360, 383, 400 and the 440. The 426 Hemi was available in 1970 and 71. The Panther Pink and Plum Crazy were 1970 maybe even 71 colors.

Thanks, Mr. Moderator. I did some browsing and found one example of a perfect 1970 440/375 six-pack Dodge Challenger R/T
convertible, Plum Crazy with black interior/top with automatic transmission and factory a/c for me if I were rich enough. The dream is fun.
I believe the 727 transmission was a Torqueflite. I believe the 3x 2-barrel carburetors are tricky to synchronize. This unit has AM radio and 8-track.
I would opt for a modern stereo with Bluetooth. I would keep all original/OEM parts. I would not demand a numbers-matching automobile,
but one with OEM/correct power train. I think this car has a Dana 3.60 pozi rearend. This would be my summer cruiser.
