I am about to begin a 360/5.9 build up. 450-550 horsepower goal the main question I have is can I use an aftermarket solid roller cam in a late 90's roller block? Will it go in without any problems or are there certain modifications I will have to do and are the late model roller blocks reliable or do they have weak bottom ends? Should I go with a early 70's LA block instead? Any recommendations how to best obtain the horsepower I'm looking for?
