oke:Buildind a 383 B and have two intakes siting here #1 Edelbrock Torker 383 #3744463 And #2 Weiand 7511(30 years old or more not in there catalog)Im looking for 500+Hp and need to know whick intake and what cam i should get and what carb. so far block is bored .060 Heads to come soon from a barn!

I would use the Torker intake.
Weiand is a low rise dual plane correct?
You will make your power in the cylinder heads so pay attention to flow that will take you past your goal. I would want 280 cfm minimum on the intake with 70 percent on the exhaust.
A roller valve train will make your goal more attainable and allow you some wiggle room with a cam that works your usage.
Also, make sure your .060 slugs compliment deck height / cylinder head volume to get you a CR to support your goal.

What rpm range do you plan on "living" in?
The Torker is an old school straight runner mid to high rpm manifold. Im still using one
If you go that route, consider a 4-hole, 1" spacer. There'll be a noticeable difference is low end torque.

Despite what the specs are, the old Torker really starts coming into it's own between 2500 and 3000 rpm, at least on a 440. Not sure on a 383.
For drivability, consider the 4-hole spacer, for top end, a one hole spacer.

Thanks Archer will get both to play around with. Machinist is boring block out 0.060 and says the heads i gave him could give me 11 to 1 compression. and that i need better pistions. He meen forged flat top ? 

P.S he's trying to talk me in to using diffint heads.
