wiring plug for neutral safety switch

i have a 1973 charger with a 727 auto transmission and slap shifter floor console. I notice the 3 prong switch on the left side of the transmission ( I believe this is where the wiring from the ignition goes to for the neutral safety switch) I can not find the wiring ? I looked under the console and can not see anything just one wire going to light for shifter indicator bulb. Does anyone have a picture or idea where it should be and can I make something up if its missing entirely or order it to plug in properly or from auto wreckers from other vehicles. ???

You are somewhat correct.... But it is more like...
1. Ign. wire feed from the switch goes to the starter relay. (Sometimes Seat Belt also has an interrupted)
2. One makes its way to ground
3. One makes its way back to the backup lights.

You can find the wiring over at MYMOPAR in the tools and REF. under wiring.

Sounds like something is unhooked or not plugged into its rite home...

Also remember there might be a seat belt interlock you need to deal with...
If I get some time I will go look it over to try to give you a hand...

Something is butchered if it starts and runs now.
