i found a good list of Chrysler 300 cams. the one to the far right is for a 300 L 413 360 hp. the same engine in a newyorker was 340 hp. at .389 lift, 248 duration. the 300 L .430 lift 268 duration. but still very street able, good idle. and same MPG as a newyourker. and in a 1965 300 L 4,200. lbs stock. turned a 16.00 sec 1/4. but DO note this 300 L is not meant to be a full out race car. it is a gentleman's luxury performance car. check out this list. http://www.chrysler300club.com/tech/cam/gk.html

383 cam

this may not help but its just for reference. the 300 L i talked about i sold to my dad. the 413 had 10.00 compression. dad was rebuilding it 1977. the good gasoline is gone. but dad found out that they used the 413 in trucks in to the early 70s. with a 7.5 piston. that was a bolt in. weight, size, was the same. and we had an original new cam. the 413 run very good on 7.5 CR.

You need to add more info on what you need to do with the car. Weight and rear end ratio help.

I got a cam and lifter comp cams with 268-288. .477-.488. This is one or two steps above the standard HP cam in 68. In my case, I wanted a cam that retains low end torque to move a BIG car around with highway gears, while still having strong mid and upper range. I also had some mild head work done with bigger valves. This is on a 440. I am not done tuning it yet (I cannot get the mixture rich enough), so I am not sure how strong the mid range will be, but I have evidence that the upper end will be good, and low end torque is sufficient. Idle reasonable.

The 268s have always been my favorites in a Mopar engine.
