My son has a 1988 ramcharger, we took the 318 out and put a Jasper 360 in it. The 360 has never run very well in the truck, we put the FI on the motor and had the computer reprogrammed. I am considering switching the FI over to a carb and do away with the computer. What do I need to make the switch, I already have the carb and intake. Thanks for your help.

 

Conventional distributor and ign module. Some minor wiring.. Comes as a kit. from Mopar or MSD

 

An aluminum dual plane intake for the LA motor, an MSD or MOPAR distributor like said above), carb. All can be had used for short money..

Get a carb that has a provision for a fast idle solinoid. If your boy has AC it can be triggered to bump the idle up off the AC circuit to keep it from stalling.
