Hello all! I've run into an issue, I cannot for the life of me find a new fuel pump ASSEMBLY for my 1989 d150. Yes, I need to replace it because the plastic "vapor return line" fitting at the top of the assembly is broken off. (Don't know if that's what its called but that was what I was told. It's a very small line so it seems reasonable enough.) I'm on the verge of just saying f**k it, welding it back together and putting a big glob of caulking around it to support and seal it (You can kinda "weld"plastic with a souldering iron and a zip tie as filler.) Anyone know where I can get one other than a junkyard? If not, is there another fuel pump assembly I can drop in the same tank perhaps from a 1991? (oldest assembly I can find online) Does anyone have any ideas? Could I just plug that hole on the assembly and just reroute the "vapor return line" elsewhere?
