318 Poly to Magnum Swap
Hi. New here and need help. I recently purchased a 66 Fury 3 with the 318 poly. When the previous owner bought it he drove it home (5 yrs ago) and pulled the heads off to "see how the pistons looked",threw the heads in the trunk and let it sit. Needless to say I'm not going to just "bolt the heads on" as he suggested. So I either need to rebuild the poly or change it. What I would like to do is get a magnum engine and put it in. Am I correct that it should bolt right in? Is there a kit somewhere to be able to install and retain the fuel injection of the magnum? Anything else I need to know?

Im in the same bot as you, 66 Sport Fury III, purchased a 318 magnum from a 94 that a gentleman was building to drag before he went the ls route. The harness i got with the 94 engine had been HACKED, by 2 different people when i received it. As luck had it a guy down the road from our shop had a v8 9k auto dak with a pristine harness. I pulled it to my house and pulled literally every single wire, except the airbag assy, under hood, interior and the underside that begin underneath the hood. So now i have 95 ecm with a complete wire harness. im gonna swap the whole thing. I kept door lock actuators, window switches, the gauge cluster, even the keey and ignition. I could always find a regulator set for the fury
and bam there ya go. Im gonna make this a bad *** ride. believe i have everything ready to drop in now. Just wondering if my oil pan will be an issue
