So wanting to put a new intake on my 318 and cant decide what the BEST choice is. The 318 has a 340 cam in it ported and polished stock 1978 heads with 360 valves. Has high volume oil pump and 625cfm demon carb with a stock 340 or 360 4 barrel intake. With a msd distrubter. Was wondering what u guys think would be the best intake weiand stealth or performer??? Thanks

 

You've got one of the best ones on there now. If you want the weight savings I think it's a toss up. I've used the Edelbrocks with good fit and no leaks.

I use eddi on mine the latest is the airgap she pulls. right over 6500 no probblem with a eddi 650 avs my last manifold was a eddi rpm with a holly 600 vac. And a comp. 340 cam.

Depending on the models, I believe the Eddy has a few design improvements over the Weiand. Some of the differences you can do yourself, just not sure of how much of a seat of the pants difference they would make. I think the Eddy has a more polished look, but that's just an opinion.
