Hi
I am going to install a vortech onto my 360 magnum. I plan to run between 6 to 8 boost to keep it safe.
I have read when supercharging not to use very old cheap sand cast pistons. I also read the magnum pistons are a hypereutectic design and are stronger than the old pistons and some 360 magnums came out supercharged. Does this mean i can use them for supercharging or are they still classed as a cheap sand cast piston

Frankly at that boost level even old tech cast pistons should be fine. You must however pay attention to timing

I have a programmable ignition so I can play it safe with my timing until I learn more about the build
