400 big block question

Ok, probably gonna pick up a '77 400bb motor from a guy locally, first off he wants 400 for the complete engine. Good price or a bit too high? ( i think its high) Second, I'm really re-building this for fun, budget build, but wanted to know if I wanted the ability to swap motors in my 74 sattellite from the 440 to the 400, how many things would I have to change? Would it be a swap plug n play or would I need to change anything, like the headers?

Thanks

400-440 is all big block, altho th 440 is a rb and the 400 is the b its just a difference in the Raised Block v Big Block. Everything else would stay the same...

Wiki has them ALL listed :https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_B_engine
