440 Dwell

Was wondering if anyone had a dwell spec for a 69 440 M ?

Still using points huh. stock 28.5-32.5 degrees(0.016-0.021 inch)

Thanks a load! Unfortunately for now it's points, electronic coming down the road. It"s got an rv cam pretty mild. Again Thanks!

I was gonna say, the dwell is "buy an electronic ignition" lol.

But yeah, i remember dealing with these. matchbooks and frustration and... oof. that was on my 318.

As much as I hate to admit it, GM did come up with a better idea to adjust the dwell on their distributors. Just slide up the window and use an allen wrench.
