440 headers bolts

440 headers bolts
Are all the header bolts into the water jackets or are some blind?

I have seen some motors that had studs in all holes for the exhaust manifolds. Each one of them went into the water jacket. Typically the front hole and the very back hole on each head is into the water jacket.

Ditto Eric. Seen a few variations, but the first and last are typically in the water jackets.

all big block exhaust bolts or studs go through to water
On small blocks just the ones on each end of the heads are into water
