68 Dart/318 Header question
68 Dart/318 Header question
Just pulled a slant 6 out of a 68 Dart and am dropping in a 318. Can you guys give me some suggestion or links to some headers that would fit this application?
The best most expensive ones are made by TTI. I ran them on a 340 with power steering and column shift. Mini starter is required.

The majority opinion seems to be indeed TTI or Doug's. I do NOT recommend you buy Hedman as I mistakenly did
Hedman is one of the designs that goes under the steering, and "hangs down."
In addition, I had to dent the pass side to clear the torsion bar (on my 67), dent the driver side to clear the manual steering box, and the tube that comes "up and over" in the rear hit the jacket for the steering column.
But THAT is not the bad part. I made the mistake of ordering PAINTED headers, which I figured (WRONG) was hi temp paint. You open the box, and some BS note says "these headers are coated with low temperature paint to prevent rust in shipment. You can either burn it off or strip it off and repaint them."
What a POS. NEVER again will Hedman get any money out of me
