adjustable rockers

Can anyone tell me which engines other than the 273 Hi Po and the 426 Race engines came with adjustable rockers? I have a set that I am putting on a built 383 and i would like to know what they came off of. Thanks

273 rockers certainly will not fit a 383 and neither will Poly. I don't know what might have come on the 413 / 426 wedges, but that would be my guess. No 383 that I'm aware of and certainly no 440 came factory with adjustable rockers

I once had a 426 "street wedge" and it had adjustable, but I don't know if it was factory.

I know the Max Wedge 426 phase III engines had adjustables on them and your right no 440 or 383 came with adjustables. I know these are Big block factory adjustables but there are no numbers on them. Oh well I guess I will have to special order some push rods because they take a cupped top push rod, $Ouch!!!!

Also bear in mind this:

B engine pushrods are shorter than RB pushrods, AND

Hydraulic pushrods are different length than solid lifter pushrods regardless of B / RB

I'm going to use 273 adjustables on my LA "roller" block and when I get it further along hope to investigate shortening my old original 273 solid pushrods. If not I'll have to find some custom length. I don't have the info, some outfit named "Smith" was suggested for custom length.
