In bad need of a thread size

Hi, I new here, well I've been browsing the forum for a bit now but it's my first post.

I have this:
Carter Mechanical Pump Carter Mechanical Pump

The fuel line that goes from the pump to the carburetor is bended So I decided to change the pump as well since I also have problems with it.
I bought a 6an hose and fitting to replace it.
Now I need coupler on both side(pump and carb)
I can't find the correct thread size for the male that goes in the pump.
The closest I found is 1/4 npt, I seems to be the correct size but I can't do more than 1/2 a turn...
p.s. 1/4 ntp is ok for the fitting I bought with the hose
