Balancer Bolt

69 Plymouth - LA 318

Which direction do you turn the balancer bolt to loosen it? I believe Im turning it correctly, but it wont budge.

I dont know what I would do without this forum!

Only way I was able to get mine off was an air gun and it still took a few minutes of just firing away with the gun. My 383 was counter clockwise. I dont know about your 318.

they should all turn the same direction. i use a large breaker bar and socket. lock the bar into the frame or onto the ground and bump the key it backs the bolt off really nicely.
