I was thinking about this: If someone wants to buy a brand new SB LA, Poly, Magnum or Big Block block. Is there a way to do it?

I've been looking into mopar website and they've catalogues with LA and BB engine blocks but all them are marked has a race track restricted product (maybe them doesn't came with engine ID number)

 

Race only is because of emissions... ANY LA motor is a used reconditioned same with magnum Probably. They haven't made a BB since around 1978. So unless you want to go $$$$ aftermarket you can get anything you want

 

I know most of the engines for our cars are used remanufactured, but for example in my country the engine import process is restricted only for brand new engines/block (I don't know if classic cars have exceptions). So that's the reason of my question.

So, the mopar catalogue with those parts are not for sale?

 

Yes they are for sale !!! Very popular way to get a complete engine, as not everyone can build their own engine
