Engine Cores

The engine cores in my neck of the woods are drying up. And most wont sell the block or even short block, only the complete engines... Thats cool but recently had about three requests for short blocks and or blocks and when we did the math after buying the whole engine it was cost prohibitive. Thanks Pres O for the for clunkers.....

Does anyone know of or have info on large yards that check blocks and ship? Or large machine shops that do the blocks and ship. I see many in TX but like to get some knowledgeable feed back from some folks first.

I am lucky that my friend works at one of those recycle yards. He gets me 440 long blocks with tranny for 200 bucks.

I've got nothing for places, but is there something I can do? I run across good blocks all the time. I have folks offer me 400 blocks just to get them out of there! Being in the area of Chrysler employees, and purchases, the pickings are good. Let me know PK!
