Fuel sending unit replacement

Hello!

im really struggling to find a replacement fuel sending unit. It’s for my 1977 Dodge Sportsman RV on an M300(?) chassis. The tank is a large square steel tank though I’m unsure how many gallons it is. The old sending unit has no helpful numbers or markings. I’ve posted on other forums and gone into several parts shops with no luck. Any ideas?

thanks!

Being an RV, the tank may or may not be a Chrysler part...

Did you call an RV shop? They would be able to run the make model and vin, should be able to tell you what tank is in it. I did a quick google and had a number of hits for the sending unit using, "1977 Dodge Sportsman RV on an M300". Maybe call your local dodge dealer, parts department with the vin? They can give you a part number to cross reference at other stores.
