So I have my 383 block back and went to mount my edelbrock heads and the head gaskets I have do not line up with the coolant holes on the block. The square hole in the gasket only reveals about half of each of the coolant holes..... I have not seen this with other head gaskets I have used in the past but I'm wondering if I am supposed to have to modify the gasket at all before I go taking it back to the shop.
