Took off the old AFB carb that my dad rebuilt. Put on a holley dual feed carb. The X runs so much better. I want to hook up a fuel line that looks more "factory" & with less rubber line. I was always told when it comes to fuel lines you want the least amount of rubber line. Has anyone made there on lines ? Any pictures ? This is what I hooked up temp so I could get it running. I don't like the way it looks.

First - nothing wrong with rubber hoses.

Looks like the rubber hose is there due to clearance issues.
There are a number of Holley and aftermarket fuel feeds out there and you just have to find one that fits. (Good luck.)

Other option would be adding a 1", 4 hole spacer (don't use a single hold as it defeats the purpose of the dual plane manifold) and using a one piece fuel feed. That makes fuel feed selection a lot easier and you might gain a little performance.

I've used the chrome line you have there with a factory manifold before, you can make it work by putting a bend in the tubing as it comes out of the bowels razing the line off the manifold but what helps performance is a one inch open plastic spacer under the carb. That will help both line clearance and performance. I've seen gains in the 5 to 10 hp range through out the curve with the spacer irregardless of the type of intake.

As an edit you can drill and tap the spacer for a vacuum port for your pcv.
