Just change rings?

If I wanted to just change the rings on my engine can I do that and reuse all the other parts?
Is it possible to pull a piston and put new rings on it from underneath? Without pulling the engine?

Thanks.

The pistons by engine design must come out the top. It can be done in the car..
It doesn't take much more work to take the engine out You can reuse some stuff but I would replace the timing chain, main and rod bearings, re do the heads or at least replace the valve stem seals and all gaskets
