I just bought a 1950 Plymouth Deluxe without an engine or transmission. original engine is a 218 with a 3 speed trans on the tree. I need a complete engine and transmission and drive shaft. I found a 250 engine with a 4 speed trans from a 1952 Chrysler. Does anyone know if this will fit in my 1950 Plymouth?

 

Anything can be made to fit... Other than mounts and shift linkage, custom drive shaft.
Sounds like an easy swap

 

I think id rather find an engine that will just drop in without having to switch too much stuff around. Anyone here have a engine, transmission, and driveshaft for a 1950 Plymouth?
