New Exhaust

New Exhaust

I have a 1963 plymouth fury with a 318 Poly and i want to change from single to dual exhaust can anyone recommend a good system? Thanks. Just bought the car so any other advice would be helpful.

If your running the stock exhaust manifolds the easiest thing would to be to trailer it to a good muffler shop and have them bend and weld you a custom one.

I had mine done on my Fury with 3 chamber Flowmasters for under $400. The Flows sound great but, if I did it again, I think that I'd put Dynomax mufflers on it... There's a certain muffler 'sound' that I hear at car shows that I like, and I think it's the Dynomax...

Took mine to an exhaust shop and had them bend me up a system 2 1/4 pipes to dynomax dynapacks they sound sick [if you like loud exhaust inside and out] ran me 500$ aluminized pipe stainless steel [steel wool packed glasspack type] mufflers sounds awsome [like the old school thrush glasspacks] but not tinney/rappy/poppin sounds like they did.See it here.
