Question about oil leak

About to buy a car. 1995 Chevy Lumina 3.1. Guy says its needs the Oil Pump drive O ring replaced on top of the motor. The part is like $3 from local dealership but a few guys have said this is a pain to fix myself or will cost a fortune at a dealership . Just curious if anybody has any insight on this issue.

I don't know where the oil pump is on a 3.1, most likely on the front of the motor
BE VERY CAREFUL of what someone tells you about needed repairs. The GM 3.1 was famous for blowing head gaskets Many time it also ended up trashing the crank bearings if not repaired promptly
