Slant Six Performance
has anyone tried to get good power out of a slant six? i have a 225 i'm building i already have the head at the machine shop but am trying to think of some things i should do. the shop is going to shave it down so i can get as much compression without having to change the push rods also having it ported polished, etc everything. i have a cam 264/264 duration and .440/.440 lift. and im also planning on getting a 4 barrel intake and a header. any tips on more performance would be helpful. thanks

Anyone that's hoped up an inline 6 better have thick skin because your going to hear it all.... I am old enough to have been involved with a few, my favorite was a Chevy that had an idle of 900 rpm and sounded like a coffee can full of lugnuts but going through the gears it would make your ear drums bleed.
