Sniper EFI. Self learning or custom map

Hi guys.

I am in UK and have a 68 Dodge Coronet with a 440.
It has a Sniper EFI kit which has just been fitted.

As we have no Holley Dealers here, I need some help.

A friend also fitted Sniper to his Charger but found the self learning wasnt working correctly so had to find someone to write an email tune for him. However, he still struggled with constant uploading new maps.

So, anyone had Sniper learning issues and if so, who did you reliably and effectively use to write a map?.

Cheers.
Kev

I can’t offer any advice on who can write a tune but, I can provide some general advice on these type of efi systems.

I have a FiTech which is a very similar product in design and is a direct competitor with the sniper. However, I’ve done quite a bit of research on both products over the years involving troubleshooting them (but not tuning) and the same basic solutions are usually presented for both.

Out of curiosity what issue(s) are you having? (ex. Running rich? Bogging? Stalling?)

Thanks for answering.

Currently no issues as only just completed the install. Its up and running just. Been up and down the yard.
Just hearing from others who have fitted them and have had issues with it not running smooth or at all.
