Hi all,


I'm asking on behalf of my brother who is building a warm 383, where can one buy a gilmer drive set? As most speed shops dont have a part number for one. Will a LA smallblock gilmer drive fit onto a B383?
Also, would a pair of 440 heads fit on the B383?

Gilmer for what? supercharger? No a SB won't fit

 

Just a gilmer belt instead of the standard v-belt. Yeah pretty much a supercharger belt without the supercharger.

 

All of the 361 thru 440 heads will fit these motors. But avoid the industrial engine head that has the water pump housing that attaches to the head.
