im new in here and need some answers for my dart. im currently deployed but plan on spendin this money on my baby when i get back to the states. she currently has the original 225 slant 6 in it that i rebuilt with my father about 4 years ago. but im looking at putting a 340 in it with a 5 speed through the floor. i need to know some opinions about which rear end i should use, and what trans?

 

either pony up the $$ for an A body 8 3/4
or get a B or C body rear and have it cut down to match.

 

I would get the bigger B or C body rear end. With the 64 Dart it has very small wheel wells so you may want a custom fit with mini tubs for tires
