Hello guys,
I have a Land Rover Defender 390 stroker mopar engine and transmission 46RH that use only in off-road, I would install a radiator only for the transmission and delete the passage from the main radiator of the engine, the radiator position it behind the cab as shown in the picture, do you think this kit would be fine?

the kit does not include the check valve can delete it?

thanks

More pics!!! That is excellent!! Love to see a discovery with Mopar power. That cooler will work well. Open air install with mechanical cooling too. Nicely done.

I have another question for you :)

I redid my 46rh using a kit Trans-scat in Heavy Duty model

http://static.summitracing.com/globa...tci-220500.pdf

my engine does not use an original ECU, and no longer manages the lock-up and the 4th, how can I manage them? I can put two external switches?
the lock-up must operate only when I trigger the switch on the 4th?

About half way down the page: http://www.transmissioncenter.net/SwapInformation.htm

I had seen this kit, but says that it works only with stock tire size and rear end ratio.

I will use 37 tires and transmission Nissan :)

I prefer to put two switches if you can

Can you tell me where I need to install the thermostat to control the radiator fan?
The output hot is the number 1 or 2?

Thanks

i switch in and out of 4th gear all the time
and with the sonax accumulator spring she's quick on the shift....
#618S. 500 / 518 / 618 performance 3-4 accumulator spring. This spring will give you a firm 3-4 shift into overdrive. Cost $7.00

Install thermostatically controlled sender / trigger for the fan in the intake manifold water passage. Preferably in the front part of the intake near the number 2 cylinder.
