727 transmission problem

I have an automatic 727 transmission in my 75 dodge dart, and it seems to slip a little bit when its cold , but when the car starts to warm up after about 10 minutes it doesn't want to move at all, in any gear, any idea what that might be?

Start the car....Put it in Neutral....And Check the trans fluid.....Should be half way to the full line when cold...

Either the fluid is very low or the front pump in the trans is broken

Just checked the fluid, it's good on fluid, but you can hear a Whiney sound when you give it noise in gear, especially reverse, could it be the transmission pump going out?

First Are you aware you check the fluid with the car running ? Easy for a newby to over look.. Other wise no drive or reverse a Pump failure possible converter failure
