guys, I have an 86 d150 360 motor. I have no reverse. no warning. goes forward, just not backward. any ideas?

 

Pull the pan and check the strut for the Low/rev band. It may have fallen out of place if it was way out of adjustment Or it could have broken OR the band could have broken. If it is missing it is probably on top of the valve body Other than checking the strut The trans will most likley have to come out. May have a broken wave spring washer in the clutch pack..

Not a good idea to drive it like that..
