Ok guys here we are.I am new to this forum but I thought you guys would be able to help. I have a 90 dodge ram that had a 318 in it. I built a 440 and just ran it. So now I need to know what transmission would be best suited for this aplication. I want this as a weekend play toy. Something that I'm not going to have Alot of problems. Also this truck is 4 wheel drive. That might throw a kicker in it... thanks

 

If using the 440 you will need an adapter to use the later overdrive.. OR just use a gear vendors overdrive unit and your existing 727
