A518 governor location

I'm going to take the A518 out of my fury because this weekend the tranny got stuck on first gear and won't upshift (I only have reverse and first).

I'm going to remove valve body for cleaning, replace filter, replace fluid, clean tranny cooler, adjust front and rear band, increase a bit the pressure line and replace torque converter.

I think I should remove the governor for cleaning and inspection, I've been told that this problem can be due to a stuck governor, but I'm not completly sure where's located the governor on this tranny. I know I've to remove the overdrive section but I'm not sure If I have to take it apart (which will be a bit risky due to the spring located inside of it)

Does somebody know where is it located?

If you are doing that much to it why not rebuild it !!! New clutches, seals & bushings

Right now I'm focused on a new project so I just want to have the car working fine again, maybe next year will be a good moment for rebuild and install a shift kit! Also I'm not sure if really needs to be rebuilt now, I've not noticed any slippage since I have it in the car, but just in case the tranny doesn't come back to live with all this work and I've to completely tear it down I'll consider a rebuild

According to pics I think the governor is located behind OD section but seems to be like I can remove the overdrive drivetrain without disassembly it and by that way avoid messing up with the direct clutch spring

Am I right?
