A727 band adjustment screw

has a square head.

None of my metric or US sockets seem to work very well, and since I need to use a torque wrench to get 72in/lb, I was wondering what kind of socket/bit will fit. Since I haven't wrenched all day every day for years and years, I have no idea what "wrist tight" or "snug it up" is supposed to mean in practice. I do have a calibrated torque wrench, though...

Is it a proprietary socket? Or is there some normal (6 walled) size that will actually work?

I think they call it a Crows foot . The open end of a wrench with a 3/8 hole for a ratchet/extention

I think it is 3/8" may be 7/16"

Thanks,

I got another reply stating that it's a 5/16" 8-point (double square) socket. Will pick one up later today and see.

(also, as far as I know you can't use crows feet on a standard torque wrench, because of the offset angle the reading will be wrong. There are special torque wrenches for that usage)
