Differential chatter

I have a 76 Cordoba with a 400 CID. It has a 271 sure grip differential. 53K original miles and like new. Recently, the differential will chatter and clunk upon initial driving when turning. After some miles it goes away. I changed the fluid and put in an additive for this problem (clutches). No avail.
What would be the best solution for this problem.

Ive had the clutchs dry out over time with just sitting, if you can find an open aria to drive in a large circle at 20 mph for a few minutes it will lube the clutchs. They are dry or ***** out. Going in a circle at speed will hopefully get the lube between the chutch disks.

Its worked for me.

scotch -

OK, just going to throw this out ... do you really want 2.71s in there?
Just saying.

If you can afford it, 3.23s or 3.55 would really wake the car up. The gear change would give you a chance to inspect the carrier.

Going to a 3.23 or 3.55 from a 2.71 May require a carrier change also..
