Need a bellhousing cover
Hi
I have a 1962 318 Poly that I installed in a Dodge power wagon.I made an adapter plate to attach the power wagon trany.
My problem is I need a bellhousing cover. I don't know what engine the bellhousing came from other then it fits the poly. It has four mounting holes for the cover. Would like to know what years of engine and models would have a cover that would fit. I live in Wyoming and parts yards are few and far off.
Thanks for the help.
Ken

So you used a small block bell, or what was in the truck?
If it is from the truck than you will have to match that.
If the bell was with the poly then;
The Poly motor is a small block at heart and I am sure I have read they have the same bolt pattern as an L.A. motor, so I would guess any small block bell would be similar. Take measurements and maybe make a template from your housing out of card board, and hit the local junk yards.
