shifting problem??

shifting problem??
i have a 67 hemi gtx, and i when i get on it, I shift it manually. 1st to 2nd wont shift. have to back off and get back on it and it shifts. only had the car up to 6200... is it just an adjustment on the trany?

For any shifting problems the First thing to check on any TF trans is the throttle pressure adjustment

Yes... Try loosing the adjustment about 6 to 8 turns and try it again.
