Adjust Steering

Hi

I have a 1970 challenger with 340/727 and power steering.

I have problems adjust my steering. All is okay with steeringball. All measurement Camber, caster and toe in green.

If I drive forward wheels are becomming minus in toe ( not only a little, but a lot) and the tires are worn.

If I drive backwards the wheels becomes straigt again.

Do any one know what I'am doing wrong?

Regards

I'd say your toe has got to be off, is it possible the incorrect specs were used?

Toe 1970 challnger

Hi

is there a special procedure for adjusting toe on an E-body?

when we adjust we use +0,10 toe in. (-0.5 camper, +3.0 caster)

when taking down from lift first time, and make a test run, it Will chance the toe to more in, if I go backwards it staighten up the wheels again.

2. time we put on the lift and connect the adjusting Unit, the toe is know wrong, we adjust again, and this time it Will be better.

Do anyone have the same problem?

Something is loose, tie rods, Center link ends, control arm bushings or ball joint.
